Seton Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery has the unique ability to offer reconstructive, orthopedic, and plastic surgery treatments in five subspecialty areas, each with its own center devoted to it. The Wound Care Center, serving Central Texas, provides specialized treatment for slow-healing and problematic wounds from trauma, tumor ablation, spinal cord injury, vascular disease, and major infections. In conjunction with the University Medical Center Brackenridge Wound Care Department, the Wound Care Center is able to treat the full spectrum of lingering wounds that occur from trauma, throughout the body.
